That work is planned and, where required, permitted before demolition starts, not discovered partway through. From cabinet selection through countertop material to the final hardware and lighting, the finish decisions are made with the client before installation, not improvised on site. A full gut and rebuild is handled the same way as a lighter refresh: framing and rough-in first, then cabinetry, counters, backsplash and fixtures in sequence.
